Dr. Jamie Boex is the Executive Director of the Local Public Sector Alliance and chairs the Board of Directors. He is a senior public finance expert with experience in decentralization, localization and public sector reforms in over 25 countries around the world.

Chas Cadwell is an Institute Fellow at the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C. and was for many years the Director of the IRIS program in the Department of Economics at The University of Maryland. His current work targets the political economy of intergovernmental decision-making. Chas is a member of the Board of Directors and the Secretary of the Local Public Sector Alliance.

Astrid is an independent urban economist supporting cities on urbanization strategy, particularly in the area unleashing new opportunities for sub-national financing. Astrid has worked extensively with city governments across Africa and Asia in her diverse roles, including as Policy Director at the International Growth Centre. In 2016, she was nominated by the University of Cape Town as one of Africa’s Young Leaders and in 2020 she received Johns Hopkins University’s Outstanding Recent Graduate Award, for her work on urbanization.

Dr. Rose Camille Vincent is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Utrecht University with expertise in Public Economics and Development Economics. Dr Vincent also has a proven track record of successful collaboration on projects related to Public Finance and Development, headed or financed by renowned policy institutions, including the IMF, the OECD, the World Bank Group, GIZ, IADB, United Nations Institutions (WHO, UNU-WIDER, UNU-MERIT), the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD-IDS, UK), German Institute for Economic Research (DIW-Berlin), among others. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Local Public Sector Alliance.
