Global Secretariat, Board of Directors and Advisory Board
LPSA is led by a small global team of advocates for inclusive and efficient decentralization and multilevel governance. The Alliance is governed by its Board of Directors and guided by an extensive and experienced Board of Advisors.

Regional and Thematic Working Groups
LPSA’s Regional and Thematic Working Groups consist of groups of practitioners and scholars who bring together skills and expertise in a specific global region (Africa, Asia, ECA, LAC, MENA) or thematic area within the field of decentralization and localization (including local democracy, subnational finance, and gender equity).
