Although decentralization and localization are being pursued in countries around the world, each country and region has its own unique patterns and trends.

The objective of Decentralization Net is to serve as a global resource on the state of knowledge and practice in the areas of decentralization, local governance and the local public sector, and to identify regional and country-level trends in decentralization and localization.

As Decentralization Net expands, we expect to introduce regional and country-level landing pages. Until then you can find country-level information by searching posts by country tag, or by global region categories: Africa, East Asia and PacificEurope and Central AsiaLACMENA, South Asia and OECD.

Regional and country-level policy practitioners and researchers are requested to contribute information and updates about decentralization, localization and local governance reforms in countries around the world.
